It's extra regen and burst heal on armor destruction, extra HP, extra damage reduction, extra movement speed, and the Monolith even gives some team damage reduction to boot. These give enough of an edge that between two GOOD players, the one without the armor is at a noticeable disadvantage. the 2% / sec healing are good but far from gamebreaking, especially if you look how pvp has changed, top geared players die in 4- 5 seconds...
and since mana is gone te manareg-enhancement of the suit already became worthless![]()

if you look in bgs you will always find some ppl with 20+ kills and only 2-3 death so this somehow doesnt fit right? 
starting from 2 fables up to 6 you get per new item a new ability
going from half cooldown and casttime up to +150 in all stats
(well ok skill has high cooldown on r1 its 10 min no clue if its changing on later lvls)
cuz then EVERY!! highendplayer is going to pay ambrosia forever !! 
bloodlust
when you hit up to 1 mio and have a bit of bloodlust you can easily heal yourself plenty
so need to run away like a coward
and btw iam warden so i mainly do dots so my max hits are around 1 mio when you play a burst dmg class like warrior you do up to 4 mio hits and this will heal you plenty 
when you have 6 fable items later on its like a short godmode
and iam curious what happens next season with even more fable items
